British Airways has a flash sale on right now for buying Avios. For this sale they are offering a flat 40% bonus when you buy 2,000 or more Avios at once. The 40% bonus is not the highest public offer from the program, that tends to be 50% however in the past some people have been targeted for a 75% bonus. You can buy up to 200,000 Avios in one transaction and there is a 200,000 Avios annual limit to which the bonus does not count towards.
