More and more airlines are jumping on the status match bandwagon to try and peel customers away from their primary airline and frequent flyer program. It appears that if you hold status in any other airline loyalty program, Aerosvit’s Meridian will match that status with their Silver or Gold Elite level. The status is automatically granted once proof is given and unlike some status matches you do not have to complete a single flight to receive the status.
