InterContinental Hotels Group is not the first to this, in fact the Points+Cash option for reward nights is an extremely popular option for Starwood’s Preferred Guest program. It is nice to see Priority Club to offer this feature as it will allow more people to redeem their point allowing Priority Club to lower the liability it shows on their books for all the outstanding points out there. The rates for Points+Cash are attractive like they are for SPG (maybe not as close but entirely acceptable) so this is a nice added feature for the Priority Club Program.
