Frequent Flyer Bonuses (FrequentFlyerBonuses.com) is 20 years old now! At the end of February we officially made it to two decades of providing More Miles More Points More Rewards from 170+ programs to people from all over the world!
Launched February 2005, FFB was born out of our Canadian site Rewards Canada which launched 3.5 years prior in the summer of 2001. Rewards Canada had (and still has) a bonus offers section that is the same backbone of the main FrequentFlyerBonuses.com site.
I had noticed there was a lot of traffic visiting those bonus offers pages on Rewards Canada that was not just from Canada, in fact the majority was from countries all over the world – the U.S., Japan, United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, Singapore, you name it – they were visiting the pages as there weren’t any comprehensive aggregators of bonus offers on the web way back then!
The only issue with this was that I didn’t list bonus offers that weren’t available for Canadians and I didn’t track programs that really didn’t make sense for Canadians. So the idea dawned on me to expand the bonus offers to a global audience but the name “Rewards Canada” didn’t really convey that very well so it didn’t take me long to come up with the name Frequent Flyer Bonuses and the rest is history.
Here we are 20 years later and still doing the exact same thing as I did in 2005. Searching out the most loyalty promotions and aggregating them all onto one website so you don’t have to go searching for them!
Whether it’s for the most popular programs like American AAdvantage and Marriott Bonvoy or the little niche programs like Binter Canarias BinterMas and Stash Hotel Rewards – Frequent Flyer Bonuses brings you promotions for all of them. Not just those that earn us commissions. Not just those that bring the traffic to the site. No matter how big or how small the program is, if there’s a bonus you can bet I’ll do my best to post it on the site.
While I haven’t kept an exact count, I would wager a guess that 60,000 to 80,000 offers have been posted to FFB since its inception!
With that said, I want to thank each and every one of you who have visited and supported Frequent Flyer Bonuses – whether you’ve been with us from the start or just joined us today. You have my heartfelt appreciation for continuing to support this passion of mine! Here’s looking to the next twenty years!
