The latest set of Miles & More Mileage Bargains (Meilenschnaeppchen) discounted mileage awards are here for this month. And boy have they really thinned out. Maybe this is to prepare us for the coming months when Lufthansa, Austrian and SWISS will no longer be offered in Mileage Bargains since they will be moving to dynamic pricing.
Anyways, let’s look at this month’s offers:
For those in the U.S. there are just over 100 options out of 3 airports including Chicago, Newark and Washington Dulles on Austrian and SWISS across in Economy and Premium Economy
For those in Germany you have 191 options on 7 of the Lufthansa Group airlines including the likes of Air Dolomiti, Eurowings, Lufthansa and SWISS.
The discount list goes on for many countries around the world – there are many options from all over Europe, Asia and so on!
Please keep in mind that Miles & More does charge hefty carrier surcharges on these rewards.
The typical discounts are as follows across all the airlines and offers:
- Economy Class 50% or more (for example a transatlantic round trip is 30,000 miles instead of 60,000 while short haul within Europe is as low as 15,o00 instead of 35,000 miles)
- Premium Economy 50% off (for example a transatlantic round trip is 40,000 miles instead of 80,000)
- Short Haul Business Class 50% (for example a European round trip is 25,000 miles instead of 50,000)
- Medium Haul Business Class ~43% (for example Europe to Yerevan round trip is 40,000 miles instead of 70,000)
- Long Haul Business Class over 50% off (for example a transatlantic round trip is 55,000 miles instead of 112,000 or 60,000 miles instead of 127,000)
Most of this month’s offers must be booked by March 31, 2025 and depending on the route and airline are good for flights between now and July with the majority of them being offered in June and July.
To find what offers are available from your country simply scroll down on the Mileage Bargains page and click on the ‘Filters’ tab:
And then you can select your country right under the ‘Flights From’ heading and the page will update with all the offers available for that location. You can then further narrow down your search by departure airport, service class, airline etc.
Here are some examples of this month’s offers:
Economy Class out of the U.S. (and vice-versa):
Business Class out of Germany (and vice-versa):
Premium Economy Class out of United Arab Emirates (and vice-versa):
If you live in a country where they have Miles & More credit cards these discounted offers are truly within reach and something to really consider taking advantage of. The reason why is that outside of Miles & More’s home countries there aren’t a lot of options to earn Miles & More miles unless you travel frequently and credit your flights and hotel stays to Miles & More.
There is a hotel conversion option – you can convert points from Radisson Rewards but it’s not a good value.
