British Airways has a flash sale on right now for buying Avios. For this sale they are offering a flat 40% bonus when you buy 2,000 or more Avios at once. You can buy up to 200,000 Avios in one transaction and there is a limit of purchasing 200,000 Avios annually per member to which the bonus does not count towards.
The 40% bonus offer:

The 40% bonus is not the highest public offer from the program, as we have seen 50% in the past and some targeted offers with a 75% bonus.
With British Airways, the more Avios you buy the cheaper each one gets with the lowest price being the maximum 200,000 Avios level (although the difference per Avios is quite minuscule from other levels) At the 200K level each Avios costs 1.64 cents
