This is the summer of promoting premium room stays for Marriott as they are expanding their bonuses to beyond the U.S. and Canada with this offer for stays in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Key differences between the US-Canada offer and the EMEA offer is the latter offers increasing bonus points based on the brand you stay at versus a flat rate bonus but the EMEA offer also requires a 2 night stay versus 1 night in the U.S. or Canada.

Check the value:
Depending on the property this bonus points rate will range from pricing the same as the best non-member flexible rate to being significantly higher than the non-member flexible (and thus even more expensive than the member rate)
Do the math to see if paying extra is worth the 3,000 points and in most cases it is worth it if it matches the non-member flexible rate. If you are someone who buys Marriott points it should be noted that often the amount you pay per point with these hotel stay bonus points offers is way less than buying points directly from Marriott, even with the up to 40% bonus they have now.

Also make sure you take a screenshot of the offer and the rate details for your stay as many times these bonus points that don’t require registration don’t post automatically and you’ll have to chase the hotel to get them posted.
