Next up in the “let’s go after disgruntled travelers from other airlines” saga is Frontier Airlines going after disheartened Southwest flyers. However, Frontier are going one step further than most of the offers we have seen of late in that this isn’t a status match. They are actually letting any Southwest Rapid Rewards members purchase Frontier Elite Gold Status for $40. It’s that simple! No actual status is required on the part of Southwest flyers.
The only real caveat is that you had to have been Southwest Rapid Rewards members on or before April 16, 2025.
Once purchased and approved, Rapid Rewards members will enjoy the Elite Gold Status until December 31, 2025.
