The bonus points rate prices the same as the best non-member flexible rate which is slightly higher than the best member rate. In the example above you end up paying 360 CZK more over the two nights – that’s about US$15 but you are earning 10,000 points worth US$50 or more.
Another way to look at it is that you are buying the points for 0.15 cents each – that’s much cheaper than buying them direct from Marriott where it costs 0.86 cents per point with the current 45% bonus! These bonus points rates are a hidden gem for “buying points.”
