Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer members who are not members of Marriott Bonvoy will receive 250 free miles for joining the program by October 18. To receive the bonus you must make sure you set your newly created Marriott Bonvoy account to automatically earn Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Miles.
You will not receive the bonus if you choose to earn Marriott Bonvoy points or any other airline miles/points. However, once the miles do post to your KrisFlyer account (which according to the terms is up to two to three weeks after joining) you will be free to change your earning preference in your Marriott Bonvoy account.
