As you can see from this example the bonus points rate is the same as the Best non-member Flexible rate which $7 more per night than the Member Rate Flexible. So in this case you would be ‘buying’ the 3,500 points for $14 or about 0.4 cents each which is way cheaper than buying points direct from Marriott – even when they have a bonus!
