Hilton is out with another mystery bonus for buying their points and it offers up to a 100% bonus. The bonus varies by member – we received the 100% offer while reader Paul let us know he received an 80% bonus offer.
With a 100% bonus it means you are paying US$ 0.5 cents per point. Given the ability to easily redeem at these points at values of 0.8 cents or more it can make sense to buy points for those sort of reward night stays, if you are planning on redeeming that is. If not, we advise not to buy points just for the sake of getting the bonus as Hilton sells them frequently enough with this bonus that there is no need to buy speculatively.
