The latest set of Miles & More Mileage Bargains (Meilenschnaeppchen) discounted mileage awards are here for this month. Once again we see a lot of routes from around the world where you can save 50 to 51% off award flights.

For those in the U.S. there are 485 destinations that you can fly to out of six U.S. cities including Chicago, New York and Los Angeles on Austrian, Brussels Airlines,  Lufthansa and SWISS across all fare classes (except for First Class).

For those in Germany you have 186 options on nine of the Lufthansa Group airline including the likes of Croatia Airlines, Discover, LOT, Lufthansa and Luxair.

The discount list goes on for many countries around the world – there are many options from all over Europe, Africa and so on!

Please keep in mind that Miles & More does charge hefty carrier surcharges on these rewards.

The typical discounts are as follows across all the airlines and offers:

  • Economy Class 50% (for example a transatlantic round trip is 30,000 miles instead of 60,000)
  • Premium Economy 50% off (for example a transatlantic round trip is 40,000 miles instead of 80,000)
  • Short Haul Business Class 50% (for example a European round trip is 25,000 miles instead of 50,000)
  • Medium Haul Business Class ~43% (for example Europe to Yerevan round trip is 40,000 miles instead of 70,000)
  • Long Haul Business Class over 50% off (for example a transatlantic round trip is 55,000 miles instead of 112,000 or 60,000 miles instead of 127,000)

Most of this month’s offers must be booked by March 31, 2024 and depending on the route and airline are good for flights between now and July with the majority of them being offered in June and July.

To find what offers are available from your country simply scroll down on the Mileage Bargains page and click on the ‘Filters’ tab:

And then you can select your country right under the ‘Flights From’ heading and the page will update with all the offers available for that location. You can then further narrow down your search by departure airport, service class, airline etc.

Business Class out of the U.S.:

a collage of buildings and water

Business Class out of Germany:

a collage of a man and a city

Business Class out of Montreal:

a collage of buildings and a castle

If you live in a country where they have Miles & More credit cards these discounted offers are truly within reach and something to really consider taking advantage of. The reason why is that outside of Miles & More’s home countries there aren’t a lot of options to earn Miles & More miles unless you travel frequently and credit your flights and hotel stays to Miles & More.

There is a hotel conversion option – you can convert points from Radisson Rewards but it’s not a good value.

There are other ways to rack up a lot of Miles & More miles…

The first option to get a lot of Miles & More miles is to purchase an ASMALLWORLD Prestige Membership. This is paid social networking membership that includes a lot of benefits and until March 3 they have a special offer for buying the membership for 4,950 EUR and you’ll get 300,000 Miles & More Miles. This works out to 1.65 Euro cents per point.

That means you could potentially buy five round trip business class tickets between North America and Europe if redeemed for the Mileage Bargain offers. Paying cash for those same five business class trips would probably cost at least two times that when you take into account the carrier surcharges, taxes and fees you have to pay on the award tickets.

But it’s not just the miles you receive – you’ll also receive the top level DragonPass membership which provides unlimited access to over 1,300 airport lounges worldwide for the member, GHA Discovery Titanium status, Jumeirah One Gold status and Sixt Platinum Status.

Another option which is a lot cheaper is to jump on this month’s Bundle&Go 30% bonus (Miles & More’s way to sell miles without selling just miles) For example you can purchase 100,000 miles for 1,750 EUR, 1,960 USD, 2,630 CAD, 1,680 SFR, or 1,540 GBP and they’ll give you a 30% bonus if you buy them by March 31 for 130,000 miles in total. With this bonus you would be buying the miles at a very low 1.35 EUR cents each or 1.5 US cents each. Click here to check out the Bundle&Go Bonus
