The offer is promoted as stay twice earn a free night as the promotion will award members with bonus points to ensure they have earned 8,000 points across their two stays. The ‘free night’ terminology comes from the program offering award nights for as low as 8,000 points.
The landing page still shows last fall’s offer and with this new one not kicking off until Feb 8 when may not see the landing page updated until that date. You can book your stays now but you have to make sure you register for the offer prior to checking in.

The total of base points plus bonus points awarded, however, will be at least 8,000 points
