IHG One Rewards has released their next systemwide global points offer that awards 2x points on all stays during the month of January 2024. Plus, U.S. residents can earn an additional 2,000 bonus points for staying at two different IHG hotel brands.
This is an interesting move on IHG’s part to run a short systemwide promo like this. Typically their offers run for several months if not an entire quarter. Perhaps they are just looking to bridge the gap to their next big promo later in winter or maybe they will start a new trend here with monthly bonuses instead of longer offers.
This offer is now open for registration and booking of stays that are completed between January 1 and 31, 2024. The 2x points earning is unlimited and with all IHG promotions, to qualify for the points the room rate must be the equivalent of US$30 per night or higher. Rewards Nights or Points & Cash bookings are not eligible.

The 2,000 points for 2 brands:
IHG One Rewards members who reside in the US, register for the 2X Unlimited Promotion, and stay at 2 or more IHG brands will earn an additional 2,000 bonus points. The stays must be at different IHG brands in order to count towards the “2K Brand Offer” and can only be won once during the promotional period for a total of 2,000 points.
When paying for your IHG stays you’ll want to use a card such as the card_name as it earns 10 IHG One Rewards Points per dollar spent on IHG stays.
