American AAdvantage is out with a new status match offer for select higher level Delta SkyMiles and United MileagePlus elite status members.
If you hold Delta Platinum Medallion or higher status or United MileagePlus Premier Platinum or higher status you can apply for this American AAdvantage status match.
Here are the matched levels:
Once approved you’ll receive your AAdvantage matched status for 4 months. To retain AAdvantage status beyond that you’ll need to meet the following requirements:
Once registered, the member must earn at least 13,000 Loyalty Points in the first 4 months of the promotion to continue with AAdvantage Gold® benefits, 25,000 Loyalty Points to continue with AAdvantage Platinum® benefits, 42,000 to continue with AAdvantage Platinum Pro® benefits, or 67,000 Loyalty Points to continue with AAdvantage Executive Platinum® benefits.
