Value in the miles alone

If we look at the 275,000 miles alone and don’t take into account the other benefits, you are buying the miles at 1.69 EUR cents each (~1.79 US Cents each). That’s not a bad price at all to be buying them at. Seeing that you can get 275,000 miles in one shot and begin redeeming right away this can be a very lucrative deal for business or first class flights.

For example if we take the monthly Mileage Bargain offers provided by Miles & More, there are typically dozens of routes you can fly between North America and Europe for only 55,000 miles round trip in business class. That means you could potentially buy five round trip business class tickets  for only 4,650 EUR or ~US$4,924 . Paying cash for those same five business class trips would probably cost at least two to three times that, if not more.
