Lots of new 100% buy bonuses this week! The latest is from Finnair Plus who are offering up to a 100% bonus until September 18. This offer is intriguing as the airline recently announced they will be switching their loyalty currency to Avios from Plus Points in early 2024. This means you could buy these points right now for future transfer to British Airways, Iberia, Qatar or Aer Lingus.
If you purchase the points at the 100% level the per point cost is 0.69 US cents per point and with a future conversion of 3 points to 2 Avios it would the the per Avios cost at 1.04 cents. That’s quite a good price to be buying Avios at! However you’ll have to take into account you’ll have your money tied up in Finnair Plus points until such time they switch to Avios and being to allow transfers.
