From the above example you can see the 5,000 bonus points rate comes in 290 JPY more than the best Member Flexible Rate. That works out to about a US$2.15 difference and those 5,000 points are worth at least $25 to $35! Or if you look at it as buying points, you are effectively buying points for .04 cents ($0.00043) each!
