A new welcome bonus offer is out for the Austrian version of the American Express Gold Card. This new 25,000 Membership Rewards Points bonus is 10,000 points higher than the standard offer. The bonus is awarded when you spend 5,000 EUR in the first 6 months of having the card. The monthly fees on the card are also waived for the first year you have it. After that the card costs 16EUR per month but does also provide lounge access at Vienna Airport. The points earned on the card can also be transferred to programs like British Airways Executive Club, Qatar Airways Privilege Club, Marriott Bonvoy and 7 other programs.
