Capital One announced a new partnership with Plaza Premium to add over 100 lounges accessible to holders of select Capital One credit cards. Plaza Premium has a significant presence with their lounges in Asia, Canada, the UK and worldwide destinations plus they manage lounges such as the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouses in the U.S. which means they are also accessible with these cards!
Now which cards from Capital One receive access to the lounges? These are the three cards:
- Capital One Venture X Card Unlimited complimentary access for the cardholder and two guests.
- Capital One Venture Rewards Card Two complimentary visits per year to Plaza Premium Lounges or Capital One Lounges
- Capital One Spark Miles for Business Two complimentary visits per year to Plaza Premium Lounges or Capital One Lounges
This is a great enhancement for these cards, especially the Venture X card as it already has unlimited complimentary access to many lounges via Priority Pass but as many Plaza Premium lounges left Priority Pass in 2021, those have now be regained. The Venture X card just may be the best lounge access card in the United States now as it provides a serious challenge to the Platinum Card from American Express.
