An amazing offer we featured back in June for stays this past summer has returned for the fall. However in re-researching it for this post we found what appears to be an even better offer at this hotel! These offers are for stays at the Hotel The Mitsui Kyoto, a Luxury Collection Hotel & Spa. The offer we were originally going to highlight awards 20,000 bonus Bonvoy Points or a JPY 20,000 hotel credit per stay (that’s what they had over summer) and that stay can be as short as one night! This is the only offer advertised on the hotel’s site however when you search for an actual stay with the 20K bonus offer another one pops up and it’s even more amazing. See here:
You see the 20,000 bonus points offer right? What’s right below that? A 50,000 bonus points offer! And that’s for a one night stay! Now this isn’t a cheap hotel to stay at to begin with but the bonus points do soften the blow. On the dates we checked the 50,000 bonus points rate is 8,425 JPY (US$74) higher then the best flexible member rate. However those 50,000 points are worth at least 39,709 JPY (US$350). The 20,000 point rate is 5,895 JPY (US$52) higher but those points work out to have a minimum value of 15,884 JPY (US$140)

As we mentioned there is no mention of this offer on the hotel’s pages on the Marriott site – it only shows up when you search for the 20K offer (which utilizes promo code M11). We looked at various dates and it appears the 50,000 point offer is available from now until November 30 (check out on December 1) while the 20,000 point offer runs right through to the end of the year. So when you go to the offer page it will show you the 20,000 points bonus offer but don’t fret, simply input your dates of stay and so long as it is on or before November 30 the search results should show you both of these bonus offers. Oh and I almost forgot, on top of the bonus points you get free breakfast for two people!
