Towards the end of May Hilton Honors provided great news for their members who hold select Hilton Honor American Express Cards. That news is the extension of free night certificates that are awarded on cards such as the Surpass card:
- Hilton Honors American Express Card Members with Free Weekend Night Reward certificates issued before May 1, 2020 that were set to expire Aug. 31, 2021 are now valid until Jan. 3, 2022.
- As a reminder, Free Weekend Night Reward certificates issued from May 1, 2020 through Dec. 31, 2020 are valid for 24 months, and certificates issued between Jan. 1, 2021 and Dec. 31, 2021 will expire on Dec. 31, 2022.
- Free Weekend Night Reward certificates can continue to be used any night of the week.
This is on top of Hilton Honors already extending members’ status through March 2022 and any Points set to expire in 2020 won’t expire until Dec. 31, 2021.
