A trio of Marriott properties in Grand Rapids Michigan have released a bonus points offer rate for stays until January 31. Each hotel is offering 7,000 bonus points per night for up to four nights and those hotels are the JW Marriott Grand Rapids, AC Hotel Grand Rapids Downtown, and the Courtyard Grand Rapids Downtown. Now the offer pages state up to 10,000 points per night but the description and terms state 7,000 per night and when checking rates I could only 7,000 points so that’s what I’m going with. The rates are higher than the best flexible rates however the value of the points more than make up for the increased price. For example the JW Marriott Grand Rapids best flexible rate on January 3rd is $234 while this bonus points offer is $249. That means you are paying $15 for the 7,000 points. With a value of at least 0.7 cents per point you would be paying $15 to get $49 worth of points (that’s better than buying points even with the 50% bonus right now)
