Taking a play out of Air Canada and Aeroplan’s playbook, Virgin Australia’s Velocity program has launched a promotion that will award you with bonus Velocity points. The bonus you receive will depend on how many people book eligible Virgin Australia flights or vacation packages. They will award 25 Million Points in total so if 10,000 people register and book you’ll stand to earn 2,500 bonus points. Bookings must be made by January 25th!
Conditions of Entry
* You must be a Velocity Frequent Flyer member to participate in the Promotion. The Promotion commences at 00:00 am AEST on 14 January 2019 and ends at 11:59pm AEST on 25 January 2019 (Promotion Period). To participate in the Promotion, Members must: (i) Successfully register for the offer using their Velocity Frequent Flyer membership number via the Promotion registration webpage; (ii) Purchase an Eligible Virgin Australia flight or an Eligible Virgin Australia Holidays package during the Promotion Period; and (iii) Add a Velocity Frequent Flyer membership number to their flight booking prior to 11.59pm AEST 25 January 2019. There is a limit of one share of the Bonus Points per Member when an Eligible Booking is made during the Promotion Period. An Eligible Booking is a Virgin Australia marketing and operated flight booked during the Promotion Period or a Virgin Australia Holidays package which must include a minimum of flights and accommodation for travel between 14 January 2019 and 31 June 2019 inclusive booked during the Promotion Period (Eligible Booking). Eligible Virgin Australia Holiday packages exclude AFL Travel, Supercars Travel and Mystery Breaks booking. Each member on a multi passenger Eligible Booking must register in order to be eligible to win a share of Bonus Points. At the conclusion of the Promotion Period, Velocity will allocate an even distribution of 25 million Velocity Frequent Flyer Points (Bonus Points) between all eligible members. No part Points will be awarded. If the number of Bonus Points awarded is a decimal amount, the Bonus Points awarded will be rounded up to the next whole number. The Bonus Points will be credited to the Members’ account within 45 days of the end of the Promotion Period. Use of points is subject to the Velocity Members Terms and Conditions, which are located on the Velocity Frequent Flyer website at:
