This is an interesting promotion from JAL Mileage Bank. When you register you will be entered to win up to 10,000 bonus Mileage Bank Miles when you complete an eligible flight from Japan to Hawaii (Honolulu or Kona) and complete an eligible inter island flight on Hawaiian Airlines. The promotion states that every 1 of 2 people who enter will win the bonus. So if you are a family of four travelling and meeting the requirements then technically two of the members should ‘win’ the bonus. This offer runs until February 28.

Here is the promotion outline from JAL:
Eligible members who register for this promotion before the
commencement of travel, and who fly at eligible fares on the JAL
International Japan-Hawaii (Honolulu/Kona) routes between Japan and
Hawaii and the Hawaiian Airlines Neighbor Island routes (Hawaii
inter-island routes to/from Honolulu and Kona) *1 between
Honolulu/Kona and a Hawaiian Neighbor Island will be entered in a
drawing. One out of every two members entered in the drawing will win
10,000 bonus miles*2.
- *1 Members must board the eligible Hawaiian Airlines flight within 5 days before or after the JAL flight.
- *2 The number of bonus miles when flying round-trip on eligible flights. 5,000 bonus miles will be credited for a one-way trip.
- * To qualify for this promotion, you
must travel on both a JAL International Japan-Hawaii route and a
Hawaiian Airlines Neighbor Island routes (Hawaii inter-island routes
to/from Honolulu and Kona).
For example, if you travel on a JAL international flight from Japan to
Honolulu and a Hawaiian Airlines flight from Honolulu to Kona for your
outbound journey, and then travel on a JAL international flight from
Kona to Japan for your return journey, only the outbound journey
(one-way) will be eligible for this promotion.
