A pretty good bonus offer for a couple of higher end hotels in Lucerne. We took a quick peak at one of them, the Hotel Lucerne and found rates at 235CHF per night or 705CHF for 3 nights (about US$700). And with Marriott points being worth about 0.5 cents each you are looking at scoring about $100 worth of points with the bonus. Compare that to the member rate of 225CHF per night and you come out about $70 ahead by taking the bonus points offer. Of course there are prepaid non-refundable rates that are cheaper but we know most of our readers don’t bother with those.
