The new partnership between Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan and Japan Airlines Mileage Bank is being celebrated with two great double miles offers! If you are a Mileage Plan member and fly on JAL from 4 west coast cities to Japan you can earn double miles or if you are a Mileage Bank member you can earn double miles for flying on network wide on Alaska Airlines! Both are good offers but I would say JAL members have it better! Heck seeing that we are over half way through the year even Mileage Plan members who have already met their elite tier goals and redeemable miles may see fit to credit their Alaska flights (only if flying on select economy class or higher fares) to JAL as JAL has some decent award chart sweet spots that these miles could be used on.
