You may have noticed that we didn’t cover Emirates Skywards’ Miles Accelerator offers this month and that’s because….. they’re gone! Yes, the best ‘add on’ miles offer for your paid flights is gone. There are other airlines where you can buy extra miles on your flights (Virgin Atlantic, American etc.) but Emirate’s was unique in that the Miles Accelerator offers were free and didn’t matter what fare you paid! All you had to do was register for them each month. Well it looks like it may have been too rewarding or maybe, just maybe, Emirates has some sort of replacement for them. Who knows, yet. I have sent an email to EK and when we hear back we’ll let you know. But for now, those bonuses that were typically up to 16,000 miles but on occasion up to 70,000 are done, kaput, gone.
Remember when Emirates’ offered 70,000 bonus miles for flying in first class on their LAX, SEA and DFW routes!
