Back in March we brought you the details
of this near year long promotion from Qatar Airways that allows
Privilege Club members the chance to earn thousands of bonus miles! This
update highlights the routes and bonuses that launched on Oct 1st
under Metropolitan Excursions portion of the promotion which run until Dec 31st:
NOTE: With this promotion is the bonus is only awarded when flying out
of Doha and not available on routes that land in the member’s home
country:
For instance a member residing in London who embarks on a return trip from London to Mumbai
(London – Doha – Mumbai – Doha – London) during the Metropolitan
Excursions travel period, will only earn bonus Qmiles for the outbound
journey (Doha – Mumbai) as London is one of the destinations under the
Metropolitan Excursions theme. No bonus Qmiles will be awarded for the
return trip (Doha – London) as United Kingdom is member’s registered
country of residence.
