Air India brings back a type of promotion that used to be prolific in the early to mid 2000’s that saw FFP members receiving a free flight after flying a certain number of flights.The most famous of which was United’s Fly Three Fly Free from 2003 where you complete three business class flights to earn a free return ticket which was then matched in some vain by American Airlines. This version is very similar in that if you fly three business class round trips you get a free flight and goes further by including an economy class of 5 round trips to get a free flight.

Economy Class offer:
Receive a free return domestic economy class ticket when you complete 10
domestic sectors (5 round trips) in economy class on Air India.  Full Details Until Dec 31, 15

Business Class offer:
Receive a free return domestic business class ticket when you complete 6

Terms & Conditions
Applicability

Offer valid ONLY for revenue tickets booked through Air India website
on domestic network and journey completed within the validity period of
the scheme.

Reward Ticket

Buy Economy Class tickets through the Air India Website and travel on
10 domestic sectors (e.g., Delhi-Mumbai-Delhi will be considered as two
sectors) in economy class within the validity period i.e., 15Oct’15 to
31Dec’15 and get one FREE return ticket (2
coupons only) on domestic sectors in Economy Class operated by Air
India Limited including Alliance Air flights. Any change in flight
number will be counted as one separate sector/coupon.

Buy Business Class tickets through Air India Website and travel 06
domestic sectors (e.g., Delhi-Mumbai-Delhi will be considered as two
sectors) in Business Class within the validity period 15Oct’15 to
31Dec’15 and get one FREE return ticket (2 coupons only)
on domestic sectors in Business Class operated by Air India Limited
including Alliance Air flights. Any change in flight number will be
counted as one separate sector/coupon.

The reward ticket can be used by the passenger himself/herself or by his/her nominee.

Reward Ticket Fare

Basic fare and Fuel Surcharge (YQ) will be absorbed by Air India. All applicable taxes / levies to be borne by the passenger.

Validity of Reward Ticket

The reward ticket will be valid for Six months only from the date of
issuance of ticket or up to 31stJuly, 2016, whichever is earlier. The
journey has to be completed before 31st July, 2016.The validity of the
reward ticket will not be extended beyond 31stJuly,
2016.

Procedure

For availing the Reward Ticket, passenger has to send an email to
webloyaltybonus.ecommerce@airindia.in within one month of completion of
scheme i.e., 31st January, 2016 forwarding therewith the following:-

  • Scanned copies of Ticket along with Boarding cards of the sectors travelled during the scheme period.
  • Name and Contact details along with email ID of the person to whom reward ticket is to be issued and the sector to be travelled.
  • Name of the City / Station of Air India Booking Office from where the Reward Ticket is wished to be issued.

On receipt of email, eCommerce Team will verify the details. Upon
successful verification of all the details/documents, a confirmation
mail will be generated to the passenger and reward ticket holder with a
copy, in confidential, to the concerned Reservation
Manager / Station Manager for issuance of reward ticket on production
of valid Identity Card (Passport/Aadhaar card/PAN card/Election card/Any
Government photo ID card) and email received from eCommerce Team.Once
the reward ticket
is applied for and confirmation mail generated to the passenger/Station
issuing the reward ticket, no name change or sector change will be
permitted unless the airline has stopped operations on that sector.

The reward ticket will be non-refundable/non re-routable with code as “WLB15”.

Other conditions

  • No FFP points will be accrued on the reward ticket.
  • Not combinable with any other scheme or promotion, if offered within the validity period of this scheme.
  • Date
    change permitted on reward tickets within the validity period subject
    to collection of Rs.1,000/- plus Service Tax on each sector / coupon.
  • The reward ticket will be booked in “X” RBD for Economy Class and “I” RBD for Business Class on Air India domestic network.
