Today Air
Canada launched a new bonus miles promotion when you fly on Flex Fares or
higher between Toronto and Montreal or Ottawa. Like all flight
promotions from Air Canada, bookings made before today do not count. The
earn period is quite long, essentially four months so for you
frequent travellers making these short hops a few times per month you
should come out with at least 7,500 bonus miles. if not more. Nice to see that one
segment will get you a bonus not like other promos where you have to
hit two or three before you get something. Perhaps AC is feeling the heat from Porter and
WestJet (WestJet does offer 3x Dollars on these routes) and want to keep
their Altitude members who fly these routes a lot from jumping ship
after the recent announcement?
