This is somewhat of a rehash of part of yesterday’s bonus offer highlight post but I felt this offer was deserving of its own post. It appears that United may want to move
traffic to their site for hotel bookings and earn the commission for those hotel stays (despite partnering with PointsHound
and Rocket Miles and having them buy miles form United) by providing a nice bonus offer for booking stays via United.com. This is the offer as it appeared on my MileagePlus page yesterday:
