There are only a few days left to take advantage of the 20% bonus on buying Melia International Mas Points. One of the best redemption options to take advantage of with this offer is to transfer them to airberlin topbonus. In my post from December you can see that you can have significant savings on business class fights with airberlin by using this offer. What makes it even better is that airberlin is introducing a new business class cabin on their long haul aircraft that should be completed by the start of the 2013 summer season.

If you don’t feel like reading my longer post detailing this offer here is quick example of a new flight search to show the savings by buying Mas Points

airberlin flight New York to Berlin on Mar 13, 13 costs US$1837.39 all in for the one way flight if you were to buy it outright. If you buy 80,400 Mas Points for EUR536 (~US$716) you can redeem those points by transferring them to airberlin (40,000 topbonus miles) and end up paying a total of about $897 for the same flight, or a savings of roughly 50%.  I’m sure there are even better options but I choose this one randomly as an example.
