Following in the footsteps of nearby European Airlines (Alitalia, CSA, and others), Duna Club, the FFP of Malev Hungarian Airlines is offering a status match for elite members of any other airline who have flown with Malev in the past three months. Here is the direct wording from the Malev site:
If you already hold a premium frequent flyer card with any airline and you would like to swap your existing Duna Club membership card for a higher tier card, all you have to do is send us a copy of your existing premium tier loyalty card plus the documents (air tickets, boarding cards) related to all Malév scheduled flights you have taken in the past three months, and we will raise your Duna Card tier to that of your existing card.
