Hong Kong residents can receive Star Alliance status match

What looks like a move to pull OneWorld members (primarily Cathay Pacific) over to the Star Alliance, Hong Kong residents can have their non-Star Alliance status matched with the program of their choice in Star Alliance after only 1 flight. This is valid for registrations until Dec 15, 09
