Aeroflot Bonus has launched an Elite Status Match offer that isn’t a true status match but more so a fast track status offer for those who hold status in other airline programs. The reason why it isn’t a true status match is that Aeroflot Bonus has a flight requirement to achieve the matched status. Honestly you are better off going for the Alitalia MilleMiglia status match as there aren’t any flight requirements. That being said the published terms of the Aeroflot offer don’t detail how long you get status for but we are assuming that since flights are required they will give you status for all of 2016 whereas the Alitalia offer only boosts your status to March 2016. Ultimately if you think you can reach the 3 or 5 flight requirement of the Aeroflot offer this fall then go for it and go for the Alitalia offer as they are both Skyteam members and you can use your Alitalia status for some benefits when flying on Aeroflot to achieve the Bonus Elite Status!

Promotion Participation Requirements:
1. Sign up for the Aeroflot Bonus programme, fill in the
application form and enclose a copy of your valid elite card of another
frequent flyer programme.
2. Complete 3 or 5 scheduled Aeroflot flights (flight segments)
using any fares that are eligible for the promotion, and receive a
Silver or Gold Aeroflot Bonus Card respectively before December 1, 2015.
3. Credit miles for the completed flights to your Aeroflot Bonus account before December 15, 2015.

Economy Class: Y, B, M, U, K, H, L
Comfort Class: W, S, A
Business Class: J, C, D, I, Z
Tickets purchased as part of other special promotions are not eligible for this promotion.
