ReplyDeleteContest is now closed. We will announce the winners shortly.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Can you also post the winners on here please?
ReplyDeleteThanks to a random number generator, the winners of our Hyatt Giveaway contest are:
ReplyDeleteTochjocaro and Kathie!
Congratulations! Look for an email from us shortly for more info and the details we require from you.
Very weird - no where in your rules of the contest did it say that you were deciding from a random number generator.....
ReplyDeleteRULES STATED: To be eligible to win one of the two prize packs, each of which consist of two (2) Big Welcome Back Free Nights (must be used by August 31, 2010) please leave a comment below on HOW and WHERE you would spend the two free nights if you won them from us.
Neither winner really did that if you read their entries. Also, very weird how a random generator picked people with sad stories.
Weak weak weak results from the number generator. Less respect for the blog.
The method we chose to pick our winners was to keep things fair and unbiased. If two people with sad stories came up it was completely coincidental and played no part in them being picked as winners. I'm sorry to hear you have less respect for this blog.
ReplyDeleteTochjocaro,
ReplyDeleteYour profile does not contain an email we can contact you at. Please email us at info@frequentflyerbonuses.com to claim your prize.
Hey There-
ReplyDeleteThanks again for making the contest open to us all - appreciate that.
If the second winner doesn't respond, would you consider opening up the second prize again?
Thanks!!
So one of our winners is confirmed. The other we have not heard back from and we have made all possible efforts in contacting them. We (us and Hyatt's agency) decided that once one week is up we will select at random another winner. This means that if we have not heard from the original pick by 5:01pm EST on Saturday May 8 we will go ahead and draw another winner. To all the other entrants, make sure you have a contact email in your profile, and if you are using a 'blogger' profile it must be set to public for us to see your email (you can always set it back to private after we pick)
ReplyDeleteCongrats to deniselao! She is our other winner as we never did hear back from one of the first two picks.
