American Airlines is offering some huge flight bonuses for their European based members with a promo called ‘Sky High Miles‘. The promo awards bonuses as follows for return transatlantic travel in First or Business Class:

The promotion is valid for flights taken between September 1 and December 16 although it is already open for registration.
AAdvantage members with an address on file in the following countries:
Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina,
Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Faeroe
Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Greenland,
Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxemburg,
Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland,
Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia,
Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, Vatican City State.
(hint: if you are not from Europe but are able to change your address to a family member or friend who does live in one of these countries you may be eligible for the promo. Plus the T&Cs do not state that your travel has to originate in Europe. I’m not saying this will work but for someone with upcoming Transatlantic travel it may not hurt to try. YMMV)
