American has launched a MileSAAver award sale for flights in economy class to Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Award flights from anywhere in the contiguous 48 to either of these cities can be had for 10,000 miles each way (20,000 round trip, hence the 5,000 mile savings on the regular MileSAAver requirement of 25,000 miles). You have to book by February 27th for travel until April 4th. This could be a good option for those who haven’t made any spring break plans yet.
