Recently Etihad Airways finalized a EUR1.76 Billion deal to acquire a
49% stake in Italy’s Alitalia and it isn’t taking long for the two
airlines to begin promoting this. Last week there was an email from
Etihad explaining the new partnership between the airlines and now
Alitalia is promoting it with a bonus miles offer that is today’s
highlight. The offer is only for business class flights on either
airline but is nice to see if you are planning premium class travel
between Italy and Abu Dhabi. The offer is for 5,000 bonus MilleMiglia
miles each way between Rome or Milan and Abu Dhabi on either carrier.
We can only assume that Etihad will also have an offer like this as we often see from their other partnerships with airberlin and Virgin Australia. Other bonuses added that are definitely worth checking out are a $50
Visa Gift Card offer for stays at Holiday Inn Resorts, Air France KLM’s
new flight offer for those flying out of Thailand and some decent sized
bonuses from United Vacations.
