American Express in the U.S. is launching a new
coalition program called Plenti. It will be similar to Canada’s Air
Miles program, the U.K.’s Nectar program, Brazil’s Dotz and so on.
Companies have tried coalition programs in the U.S. before and they have
failed (Air Miles was one of them) however having a big backer like
American Express may just change the streak of coalition programs in the
U.S..
