Air Canada Aeroplan has brought back a “points back” promotion for booking hotel stays with your Aeroplan points. Members can receive up to a 20,000 Aeroplan points rebate when registering for this offer and redeeming for eligible stays.

This time the tiered offer sees double the amount of bonus points compared to last fall’s offer and it is also available on all eligible hotel bookings not just Aeroplan’s HotelSaver options – although the latter are typically a better option!

The up to 20,000 points back offer

Receive up to 20,000 Aeroplan points back when you redeem 30,000 or more points for hotels booked with Aeroplan points via Air Canada. Register & book by Jun 28, 24 for stays until Dec 31, 24.

Redeem 30,000 – 59,999 points receive 5,000 points back
Redeem 60,000 – 89,999 points receive 10,000 points back
Redeem 90,000+ points receive 20,000 points back

Aeroplan Elite members will get an additional 2,500 points back when they redeem 30,000 points or more for a hotel stay.

This offer is available on eligible redemptions at any of the 300,000+ hotels offered via Air Canada. HotelSavers are available at over 7,000 of those hotels the which the airline has partnered with to offer Aeroplan members up 30% more value per point for hotel stays.

Here are some key terms of this offer:

Promotion applies to all bookings (new and existing) within the promotional travel period, so long as registration is completed prior to June 28, 2024.
Points-back are credited on a per-stay basis.
There is no limit to the number of stays that qualify for this promotion.
Points-back will be credited to the member’s account within 6 weeks after stay completion.

This offer stacks with the fourth night free benefit!

Remember that if you are Aeroplan co-brand credit card holder you can receive every fourth night free when redeeming points for stays of 4, 8, 12 nights and so on. Read more about the 4th night free benefit here.

New partnership with Preferred Hotel Group I Prefer

1 year of Titanium status for Aeroplan Elite members and Aeroplan Credit Card holders

Aeroplan Elite members and credit card holders can receive Preferred Hotel Group I Prefer Titanium status for 1 year! All you have to do is join the program via the dedicated link you have or will be receiving in your Aeroplan email before June 28th, 2024.

Qualification:

Aeroplan members who hold 25K, 35K, 50K, 75K, Super Elite or VIP Status in the Aeroplan Elite status program (the “Aeroplan Elite Status Program”) or who are cardholders of an Aeroplan Credit Card, may qualify to enroll for a complimentary I Prefer Titanium status (the “Status Offer”).
