For those of you who may hold elite status with SAS EuroBonus you can now match it into Lufthansa’s Miles & More program. As SAS is leaving Star Alliance to join SkyTeam this match makes sense from LH’s standpoint to try to keep flyers in Star Alliance instead of switching over to the competition.
This match is run by Loyalty Status Co. but unlike many of the offers run by them this EuroBonus to Miles & More match is free. If your application for match is approved you’ll recieve status in Miles & More that is valid to February 2025 and you can extend that further with the following challenge:
a) Frequent Traveller Challenge: Complete 2 flight segments with Lufthansa Group airlines or co-issuing Miles & More airline partners* by 30.11.2024 to extend status to 28.02.2026.
b) Senator Challenge: Complete 6 flight segments with Lufthansa Group airlines or co-issuing Miles & More airline partners* by 30.11.2024 to extend status to 28.02.2026.
