As originally posted to Rewards Canada earlier today, here is a sneak peek at a few of the upcoming Air France KLM Flying Blue promo rewards! For January there will be discounts on economy and business class rewards out of Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto. Technically these should be available to book on January 1st but as that is a statutory holiday it is entirely possible these won’t be loaded into the system until January 2.
Sneak peek at the Canadian Promo Rewards for January
These are the Canadian Promo Rewards that will need to be booked between January 1 – 31 for travel between January 1 – June 30, 2024.
Montreal
25% off Air France and KLM Business Class to Europe, Turkey or North Africa.
These should be the minimum redemption amounts available:
- Business Class from 37,500 miles one way
Ottawa
25% off Air France Business Class to Europe, Turkey or North Africa.
These should be the minimum redemption amounts available:
- Business Class from 37,500 miles one way
Toronto
25% off Air France Economy Class to Europe, Turkey or North Africa.
These should be the minimum redemption amounts available:
- Economy Class from 15,000 miles one way
Quick Check on Promo Rewards Availability
Tip If you are looking at the search results calendar the availability shown is actually for the day after that as Air France’s back end system runs on the European week of Monday to Sunday however the calendar displays the North American method of Sunday to Saturday. So if you see availability on a Sunday and click it the results may be different as it will then pull the actual Sunday data versus the calendar showing Monday’s data (if that makes sense!)
Montreal
A quick search for Montreal to Paris in business class was showing quite a few of the current December Promo Reward discounted flights. Barring a lot of bookings happening in the next couple of days we should similar availability once the new rewards are loaded!
Ottawa
For Ottawa to Paris, business class was showing some availability for the current December Promo Reward discounted flights. Just like the Montreal offers, if the airline does not see a lot bookings happening in the next couple of days we should similar availability once the new rewards are loaded!
Toronto
A quick search of one way availability (taken on December 29) from Toronto to Paris showed a decent amount of dates at 20,000 miles (which should price at 15,000 when these are loaded into the system) with near daily availability showing throughout April and May. Now Air France KLM availability changes by the minute so when the Promo Reward go live it could be totally different.
Booking and travel period
These offers will be open for booking between January 1 and 31 and are good for travel between January 1 and June 30, 2024.

Hopefully with this sneak peek you’ll be able to prepare for the upcoming Promo Rewards. You can start searching for availability and jot down dates to search again once they launch.
