SATA Azores Airlines launched a refer a friend bonus for their Imagine program on February 7. The promotion awards the person referring 1,000 Imagine Miles for every successful referral and the person being referred will earn 500 miles for joining. This offer is available until February 28, 2022.
To earn the bonus you must let SATA know you have referred. Here are the instructions for doing so:
- Memberships from February 07 to 28, 2022;
- New memberships must be made online on www.azoresairlines.pt;
- Subsequently to the subscription of the new member, the raiser member must send an e-mail to sata.imagine@sata.pt informing his/her frequent flyer number as well as the the friend’s name and frequent flyer number;
- Unlimited number of new members;
- Miles will be credited to both members’ accounts during the month of February. In case this doesn’t verify, members must notify SATA IMAGINE by email.
Definitely a few more steps required here to receive the miles but I can see SATA has done this so that people don’t game this and refer new members they don’t know via blog posts, social media, etc.. This is a true refer a friend offer although it could still be gamed but you’ll have to let the people know who that you refer that they need to email you with their name and frequent flyer number.
