normally it costs 1,250
CR points for 1,000 Avios which means with this promo
members will receive 1,400 Avios for the 1,250 points while
U.S. members are luckier in that their base transfer ratio is 1:1 so
1,000 Club Rewards points will earn 1,400 Avios. This means U.S. based
members can get a short haul award flight on American or Alaska airlines
for only 11,000 Club Rewards points (15,400 Avios)
