With a 100% bonus you’ll be buying Mileage Plan miles at 1.88 US cents. If you get the 80% bonus like me it is 2.09 US cents.
As it can be relatively easy to redeem at over 2 cents per mile (US$) for premium class award flights it can make sense to buy the points as long as you can find those golden nuggets for redemptions!
