Of note is that for this promotion they have increased the amount of Avios you can buy from 100,000 to 200,000. With the 50% bonus you’ll come out with 300,000 Avios if you buy the maximum amount. It’s a hefty amount to buy the maximum, US$5523.00 but in the end it works out to 1.841 cents per Avios. That’s not too shabby. Purchasing lower amounts moves the cost up per Avios but even 100,000+50% works out 1.85 cents, 20,000+5% is 1.92 cents and so on.
