Hyatt has released another buy points offer and this time it is in the form of a discount rather than bonus points. The discount is a flat 25% off when you buy 5,000 or more points and was last seen in September. Since then we have seen a 30% bonuses when buying points which works out to a per point cost of 1.85 cents whereas this 25% discount works out to 1.8 cents per point. As you can see this discount is better than the 30% bonus but not as good as the 40% that we have seen from Hyatt as well. Still it could make sense to buy points for an award in the short term before a 40% bonus comes along again. This 25% discount offer runs right through to the end of the year.
